Dhobi kaprhe dhovan lagyan mail kade vi takda nahin; Gunahagaar nun bakhshan lagyan bakhshanhara thakda nahin. Satgur poora kade gunahan de val panda jhaat nahin; Satgur de lai chhoti vaddi uchchi neevin jaat nahin. Satgur denda daat ilahi jo vi sees jhukanda ey; Kahe avtar oh ik chhin andar ramein raam nu panda ey. |

While washing the clothes, the washer man does not bother about the extent of dirt
they contain; Likewise, while forgiving the sinners, the great forgiver also does not feel tired. The perfect True Master does not look at the faults and failings of anyone; The True Master knows no caste--inferior or superior, high or low. The True Master bestows the divine gift upon who-so-ever bows his head (at his feet); Avtar says, such a person realizes the all--pervading God in one moment. |
Meaning
In this verse Shehenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji explains the ever forgiving and loving nature of the True Master (Satguru) towards all. Just like the laundry man (dhobi) is not bothered about the dirt on clothes while washing them, the forgiver (Satguru) does not get tired of forgiving sinners (people who do bad things). The True Master does not look at one’s sins (bad deeds) nor does he see any religion as small or big, better or worse. Instead, the True Master blesses anyone who surrenders to him with God-Knowledge in a moment.
